It was classic 'old Buffalo' as they hurt themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defense and Allen attempting to do too much to rescue his squad from the situation - not the calm, disciplined, balanced Bills we've witnessed this year

Miami have served up a varied performances this season so the jury's out on whether this is the beginning of a trend, but for the Bills they'll require an immediate bounce-back in a tough game against Tampa Bay in week 11 as the Patriots are quietly moving into a comfortable advantage at the summit of the AFC East

Speaking of the Patriots, they're among three eight and two teams in the NFL, all AFC teams, but could they be the best?

One could find flaws in New England, the Broncos and Indianapolis really for feasting on the weaker opponents, with just five of their combined twenty-four wins coming against teams with a winning record - and one example was the Colts defeating the Denver

Visiting Baltimore is challenging too, but Denver have it even tougher in the AFC West division with the Kansas City to face two times, the Los Angeles Chargers (who might also challenge for top seed but encounter the identical challenge) and also the Packers on the fixture list

The Indianapolis also play the Kansas City, and have the Seahawks, 49ers and two games with the 5-4 Jacksonville to face. There is a considerable distance to travel but the door is available for a shock top seed in the AFC

Both squads with solid claims to be better than all of the three different 8-2 teams are National Football Conference West rivals the Seattle and Rams, who both scored forty points to reach seven and two ahead of the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster game between the two in LA

Seattle also lost to San Francisco, with a last-minute score in the opening week, before losing to the last kick of the contest against the Buccaneers - so they are truly among the top teams in the league

The next matchup on Sunday could be the most exciting of the season to date
